What is Papaka? (Pronounced Paper-ka)
Papaka is a unique concept of Paper craft which uses shapes of coloured paper to create original works of art. All you need is a craft cutting knife and a cutting board and you can create these amazing pictures yourself. A wide range of kits are available from beginner to advance.
Each Kit Includes
- A photo of the finished product
- A pattern sheet on which you cover the symbols
- A cutting pattern sheet which is used as a guide for the shapes
- An instruction sheet
- Sheets of A4 paper with colour blocks
- An assortment of coloured cards
- A plastic zip lock bag in which to store your project
Instructions
- On the back of each colour block there is grid paper with a symbol
- Each symbol corresponds to a symbol on the pattern
- Using the cutting pattern as a guide mark out and cut the shape required
- Remove the grid paper on the back of the coloured shape, revealing a sticky surface
- Manoeuvre the coloured paper shape into position on the pattern using the blade or tweezers
- Press down firmly
